I have been living in Bali for several decades now, and I often feel happy to be able to live on this island in the midst of beautiful nature.
I think this is because of the economy and the rich cultural life that is brought about by sawah (rice fields) and rice cultivation.
There are also many people, regardless of race, who live here and have a wealth of knowledge and experience.
I believe that if we share these experiences and knowledge with everyone, we will become even richer and happier.

バリ島に住んで数十年となりますが、この島に住んで美しい自然の中で生活できることは幸せと感じることが度々あります。
それはsawah(田圃)と稲作がもたらす経済やそれによる豊かな文化生活がここでは営まれているからでもあると思います。
そして、ここに在住の方で様々な豊富な知識や経験を持っている方も人種を問わず、たくさんいらっしゃいます。
そういう経験や知識を皆さんと分け合えば、さらに豊かに幸せになるのでないかと思います。
皆さんと気のおけない茶話会を催したいと思います。
